As an independent business energy broker, we are committed to operating with the highest standards of integrity and customer care. To this end, we are proud to be regulated by Ofgem, the government regulator for the electricity and gas markets in Great Britain.
Ofgem’s role is to protect the interests of energy consumers, promote competition and innovation, and ensure the market functions effectively. As an Ofgem-regulated broker, we adhere to strict rules around transparency, fair treatment of customers, and the accuracy of information we provide. This means you can trust that when you work with us, you’re getting an honest, reliable service that puts your needs first.
In addition to Ofgem regulation, we have also voluntarily appointed an independent Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) scheme, which in our case is the Energy Ombudsman. The Energy Ombudsman is an independent body that helps resolve disputes between energy companies and their customers.
By appointing the Energy Ombudsman as our ADR provider, we are demonstrating our commitment to resolving any issues or complaints promptly, fairly, and effectively. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with our service and we are unable to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you have the right to escalate your case to the Energy Ombudsman who will conduct an independent investigation.
The Energy Ombudsman service is free to use for consumers, and their decision is binding on us if you accept it. This provides an extra layer of protection and reassurance for our customers, and shows our dedication to delivering excellent customer service.
At Energy Finders, we believe that our regulation by Ofgem and our membership with the Energy Ombudsman ADR scheme demonstrate our commitment to operating with integrity, transparency, and a focus on the best interests of our customers. You can engage our services with confidence, knowing that you are protected by robust regulatory oversight and independent dispute resolution.
